What is the one thing all great writing has in common?

Nobody sets out to write weak and forgettable prose. Everyone wants whatever they write to make a strong and memorable impact. So why is it many of us struggle to express ourselves powerfully?

Great writers use the writing process of "pants" used by Aristotle's Rhetorical technique of the "Art of Persuasion" or "How to Win Friends and Persuade People" by Dale Carnegie or "Believe me, . . . . . I will always love you!" What is the acronym? A thesis statement states the main points of your essays. The controlling idea of your essay support your claim, proposition, or assertion. the subpoints or prongs provide clear transitional paragraphs or direction or road map of your essay. This controls the organization of each major point of your essay. Thus, one writes short, simple, and precise main points, avoiding redundancy, vague statements, and fallacies.

I would add that the reader is most often affected when the writer has been most honest.

Great writers are able to express themselves with sincerity, authenticity, and good faith without misinformation, fallacies, and evil intent. The writer must create awe, tolerance of diversity, and humanity.
