I think a fun, easy way to remember the definition of this word, "Epistemology" would be to imagine someone trying to get your attention, to tell you a secret: "Hey! Pssst! Ahem--OLOGY!" As if they're excitedly whispering to you that the end of the word, "Ology," is actually the key to the entire word. They're directing your attention to the fact that "Ology" means "a subject of study," or "a branch of knowledge," and the word, as a whole, "Epistemology" is about the study/theory of knowledge. Try that and see if it helps!
