I can help! My mission to is help kids feel the joy that comes from exploring their personalities through their writing, and to see their writing as a powerful vehicle for connecting with others.

In my Group Classes and 1:1 classes, students analyze thought-provoking current events articles aimed at building their vocabularies, expanding their general knowledge, sharpening their critical thinking skills, and laying the foundation for the SAT/ACT. They engage in lively debates and plan argumentative essays around contemporary topics. Additionally, students learn how to read and analyze classic literature, putting them on track for future Honors and Advanced Placement English classes.
