I think my favorite advertisements are the old infomercials that dramatize everyday situations, such as getting tupperware out of a cabinet, or cracking an egg. They always ask the simple question, "Have you ever had a hard time [fill in the blank with activity]?" and then show the person struggling to do that very activity. The struggle that they face is completely ridiculous and would never happen, but then the commercial rushes in with a perfect solution - the product they are selling that will obviously make everything easier. These infomercials never fail to make me laugh!
