How do I get my spouse to take the USCIS exam and interview to become a U.S. citizen?

I invite you approach your spouse with the same love 😍 with which you approached him or her when the 2 of you married. Use this same love to present the advantages of American citizenship: 1. The two of you together may reflect on the advantages of being a United States passport holder. 2. Together brainstorm all the ways the U.S. government assists its citizens. 3. Offer help throughout-studying with him/her; sitting together to do a few mock interviews; quizzing her/him on U.S. Presidents, holidays, etc. 4. Offer to pay for him/her to get help from a Wyzant tutor (like myself) who specializes in this subject. 5. If it true for you and your family, you may mention that she/he would be an addition to the group of you who are already United States citizens. Do all these with love and compassion and we just might see an addition to the already millions in the American family.

The spouse must have continuously resided in the United States after becoming a permanent resident for at least three years immediately preceding the date of filing the naturalization application and must have lived in marital union with his or her U.S. citizen spouse for at least three years prior to filing
