And she gave me vocabulary homework. We exchanged e-mail with each other before the first lesson, so she could prepare the first lesson for me. Every time she checked my needs for studying English, and then she prepared it for the next lesson. Even though I forgot it, she still remembers about my needs and requests. She has a lot of sources for teaching ESL; book, newspapers for ESL, internet sites, etc. I think she has lots of experience for teaching ESL. I really appreciate her. Thank you Meghan!
It was her patience that encouraged me to speak up more, and I felt more confident than before. For those ESL standardized test, everybody can get a template for speaking/writing from the internet without paying. However, it is more than crucial to have someone that can guide you through these and explain to you what the graders are expecting. By saying that, Debbie will be your top choice as an ESL tutor. After an intense 1-week training, I ended up having a speaking score of 26.
She urged me to go back to the job market and we started building up the cover letter & resume together. As she was a professional career adviser, I could prepare the whole hiring process even for mock interviews. Thanks to Nicole, I got an official job offer from one of the biggest company and I have one more on-site interview coming next week! She is a great ESL tutor and she can lead her student to get a job!!!! I’ll continue to study ESL with her and develop myself.
