Excel: I need to take given data and sort between f, d, or Both. Then I need to separate the data once determined by f or d pounds

Question

So, imagine there is an excel sheet with a column full of f or d values, another with random minute values, and 5 different zone columns with a number in only one of these per row(These 5 columns can have multiple numbers, but only one per these rows). I need to take given data and sort between f, d, or Both. Then I need to separate the data once determined by f or d pounds(if both, then added values will appear in both columns or if multiple in f or d, then added values will appear in f or d respectfully)

Here are some examples of what I am trying to do with this data:

ex. 1) zone 1 has two numbers 104 and 65. We need to show this as "f" since both a represented by that letter. Once sorted, we look at each of these numbers' minutes which would be 147 and 51. Then we add them since both had f letters and have this automatically update this value in the "f min" column. Since there is no d values there will be a 0 in the "d min" column. Then we add the "f min" and the "d min" columns and have this update in the "min Total" column.

ex. 2) zone 3 has two of the same numbers, both 52. We need to show this as "both" since one is f and the other is d. Once sorted, we look at each of these numbers' minutes which would be 278 in the "d min" column and 132 in the "f min" column. Then we add them and have this update in the "min Total" column.

ex. 3) zone 5 has one number 117. We need to show this as "f". Once sorted, we look at the number's minutes which would be 21. Then we have this automatically update this value in the "f min" column. Since there is no d values there will be a 0 in the "d min" column. Then we add the "f min" and the "d min" columns and have this update in the "min Total" column.

I am assuming you would like to automate this process. Do the number of rows change and if so do you have to format the data when its pulled from whatever database it is coming from?
