How is Wormwood's patient saved from Hell in The Screwtape Letters? This is a question that I have been stuck on for weeks, can someone please help me?

My question: What is one of the incidents that the patient experiences, immediately after his death, that indicate he is saved from Hell?

This question is for The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. I've been stuck on this question for a while and it's really bothering me that I can't find an answer to this after reading the chapter several times. Can someone please be kind enough to help me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

Troy P.

Hi Jesset, I have not read The Screwtape Letters, so I am sharing a summary I found online: "On the one hand, for the Patient, the story ends with death, but, in dying, the Patient ascends. All his earthly struggles have been a means of gradually climbing into Heaven." I hope this helps you identify this section in the book so you can find the exact answer.
