It is always a good idea to expose the student to the types of questions that will be asked on a Gifted and Talented test. For example, the CoGat test has 9 subsections within it's three major areas: Verbal, Quantitative, and Non-Verbal. Each of these have specific ways of asking questions and the tests are quite extensive. The NNat also has a specific way of asking questions. If students are familiar with how the questions will look, it will give them confidence when going into the test, which will make it a more enriching experience.
