Having a solid vocabulary is like having a Swiss Army knife for your brain – it's super handy in countless situations. When you know lots of words, you can express yourself better, understand what you read more easily, and even think more clearly. In school, this means acing those essays, understanding complex topics, and impressing your teachers. Furthermore, having a strong vocabulary will help especially with the SAT because that test tends to purposely confuse test takers with large, uncommon words as well as help you shine on AP writing tests. And in your future career, whether you're interviewing, writing reports, giving presentations, or just chatting with colleagues, having a strong vocab can really make you stand out. Also if you're an english language learner, specifically dedicating time to learn some vocabulary is so important to aiding in your comprehension of the language when reading and speaking to others.
