Summer learning loss or the "summer slide" can happen during the lengthy summer break. If you want your child to stay confident and continue to refine all of the skills they learned the previous school year, contact me for tutoring sessions. Summer learning loss is something that every student faces. In addition to working with a tutor, there are many helpful websites that can maintain knowledge and stamina. Every school uses programs that often extend throughout the summer. Some include- IXL, Lexia, Prodigy, Dreambox, and nearpod.

Some other fun ways to avoid summer slide is by reading books for fun, doing puzzles, Sudoku, or even playing cards and board games with friends. This helps your brain grow and challenge itself in exciting and engaging ways!
