Is hunger games a good series to read? (for a 15 year old)

Hunger Games is a similar difficulty level as the other books you mentioned, and (in terms of reading level and interest) is a great series for a 15-year-old. You should expect some dystopian and pseudo-political themes like Maze Runner. Similar to the other series you've mentioned, it includes lots of world-building and teen characters struggling to grow up in that world.
