I believe that simple yes or no is not sufficient to answer this question. It reads somewhat like an ad for online learning, so I wonder where it is from. Is the online learning interactive, allowing for opportunities for practice in all the areas of language including speaking? How many students are in the in-person class, and how many are in the online class? What are the qualifications of the teachers? Is the online class being done through an respected institution with qualified teachers. Also there are differences in people. Some would respond better to the atmosphere and relationships of an in-person class which might provide motivation. Others might prefer the online setting. It's a complicated issue, but both can certainly be done well.
Is it better to study English in class or online?
Online learning can be as good or even better than in-person classroom learning with the right teacher. Online learning allows you to be comfortable in your own home while you learn. You can meet people from your target language country. You can improve on speaking, listening, reading, and writing all at the same time.
