You first have to start with defining what Globalization is "the process of a business or organization developing international influence or starting to operate on an international scale."
So based on the definition you can see how globalization can be a quick process or a slow process. It would depend on what the business or organization has as a product or service and how well said product or service is received.
That would also be an indicator of social change because we've seen this type of thing happen before. Look at the rise of K-pop group BTS for example. They were already huge in Korea where they are from but once they were able to capture the American market their fame skyrocketed even higher.
A global systematic shift is simply put "a change to the global system" the change can be quick or happen gradually but it means that there is a change to a system happening on all levels. (It doesn't have to be just political).
