How to do data and statistical analysis of data where the type of results and methodology are very different

Hello! I needed help with a systematic review that I am conducting. I have found some data but it is very different and I cannot combine it. I am measuring the complement resistance of certain bacteria and it's capsular type. There are different ways to do this, for example some studies measured whether or not the bacteria is resistant or sensitive in different mediums such as plasma or serum etc and others measured the amount of capsule and how much of the bacteria is killed. So because of this I am struggling with statistical analysis of these results and I am not sure what to do and would like some help with this please.

Hi Laila H.,

I would say, you're trying to do this "from the bottom up", i.e., find bodies of data on the particular inputs of interest, and then try to message them into a coherent whole. But, you might as well do it "from the top down", i.e., find a paper specific to the topic and then branch out from the included references.
