Is this the correct usage of the word delicious? If so, why is that the case?

A balloon in our house is hanging at a perfect height to be hit around. As a result, I remarked that the balloon was at "a delicious height" is this the correct usage of the word? If so, why?

Normally we use the word "delicious" to describe great tasting food or our emotional feelings about something we are passionate about.

A better word for the nice height of the balloons would be "perfect", "pleasing", "ideal", "lovely" "or "visually satisfying".

This is not a proper use of the word delicious. Delicious usually refers to something that tastes good, or to something that is delightful or splendid. A more appropriate word would be that the balloon was at an "aimable" or "perfect" height.
