I'm sure you've figured this out by now. But what are you comparing with positivist and post positivist traditions? If you search for the very thing you have questioned you can see quickly the difference between each viewpoint and then tackle your subject once you have worked out what to do. Remember - when writing an essay, 80% of your work is research. It's easier to write about what you know! Best, Ms Tara
