Your high school teacher would call this a gross example of a run-on sentence! Ha! But it does have its place in literature.
This style or technique is usually referred to as "stream of consciousness" writing. It's a tricky method, and can often lead to confusion if the writer is inexperienced. However, some authors have used it with great success, such as Stephen King in the book Dolores Claiborne.
Ideally, unless you are learning to master and emulate this style, it's better to write in complete thoughts. The point of all writing, of course, is to be understood. This style often leads to misinterpretation and is difficult for the reader to follow.
