Question about Calcium in the bones

What complex mixture in bone is calcium part of and what benefit does that mixture have for bone?

This mixture is called "hydroxyapatite" and the chemical formula is Ca₅(PO₄)₃. This gives bones their strength and rigidity and are an essential part of healthy bone structure.
