Hi there. I have a question for you: How do you arrange your thoughts and ideas? If you're a visual learner, it might not be as helpful to have a digital outline as it might be for another kind of learner. Maybe try creating a tangible version of your outlines for stories or articles. Write out ideas/headings on pieces of paper that match whatever you'll be covering/writing about, and arrange them in a physical space--a bulletin board, on your desk, on the floor, taped to the wall, something like that. As you move forward in the writing, adjust the pieces of paper (your tangible outline) so it reflects the work you've completed so far. The benefit of having it all out there in an outline, and taking a moment to make sure your ideas/the flow of the article is all there and accounted for, is that you may see a gap in logic or a hole in the story before you begin writing. Think 'beginning, middle, end' and go from there. That might seem basic, and it is, but sometimes we get so wrapped up in our ideas that we leave vital bits out. I hope something in there is helpful. All the best with your writing!
How can I write easier with a learning disability?
I've been writing stories since Elementary School but was diagnosed with a reading comprehension disability in High School. I was labeled as a visual learner.Currently I'm writing articles for websites but having a hard time focusing and writing properly. My editor said my article hardly read well but I'm a well spoken person and communicate my thoughts better than I write them.
