[...] indicates that a section of the full passage is being skipped. So in general, one could say, "skipping ahead," or "moving on to the end of the poem or story."
A great example, which you can easily find online, is John Donne's writing "no man is an island." It is common to see the first two lines, ending with "a part of the main." followed by [...] and then the ending, "Any man's death diminishes me," and continuing, word by word to the ending, "And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."
