Does "I wouldn't do this, if it wasn't compulsory" sound natural?

Would the above sentence sound natural? If not, what would be the modification?

Yes the sentence sounds natural. You can also have the order "If it wasn't compulsory, I wouldn't do this."

I'm curious why you ask. Sometimes the context where you are using the sentence will influence how the sentence is structured but in general either way you state it is acceptable and natural.
