Caring, experienced English/Spanish teacher with proven results.
Sometimes teachers teach material so quickly in a rush to advance and cover all the necessary requirements for standardized testing that they lose sight of the child that falls behind. Compound that session after session, semester after semester, or year after year, and suddenly, the student is failing classes. And as the student tries to catch up, they do not have the basics needed to build on to advance in understanding more complex concepts. A good teacher only moves when the student -- all students -- are ready.
