Compute the Mean & Standard Deviation from percentile values of a distribution

I have been given values for 10%, 50% and 90% of a distribution. From these numbers, how can I compute the mean and standard deviation?
 
I'll give an example....Temperature distribution
10th percentile - 50
50th percentile- 100
90th percentile- 160
 
What is the mean and standard deviation of this data?

My data is grouped by certain parameters, some have a normal distribution so I can use you answer but others have a lognormal distribtuion. Are there z-scores that correspond to lognormal (left skewed) distribution?

Not that I know of.  The nice thing about the normal distribution is that it retains its basic bell curve shape regardless of the values of the mean and the standard deviation - the curve just gets broader or narrower as the standard deviation changes.  But the lognormal distribution changes its shape pretty drastically as the standard deviation changes.  When the standard deviation is small the lognormal curve is pretty similar to a normal distribution.  But as the standard deviation increases the lognormal distribution becomes more and more skewed to the left.  So I don't think there's any single table that would scale properly for all lognormal distributions like there is for normal distributions.
