Learning is Fun
Hi Rico,
The writer is imagining a dream deferred, paused, or cancelled. He is writing about what it might physically look like or feel like. There are five examples of what this dream might look like. Can you spot the five examples? (Hint: one is that the dream might look dried up). Good! Now what is meant by supporting details. That's just a fancy way to ask, "Describe the example given of "dried up". What does dried up look like?. The author wrote an example to paint a picture in your mind of what dried up might look like. (It's easier to remember a picture than a word). So how does Langston describe the idea of dried up? Good! You got this. Choose one more example, describe it and your done. It's easier than you think. You just have to outsmart the questions and that takes practice. I know you can do this. Let me know if you need further help.
