I love talking about art
The vanishing point is a point on the horizon where all the lines of your composition that point to that horizon are oriented, it is a very elegant device to represent depth in a composition, and it offers us a simple way to determine how small an object is. it seems the further away you are from the observer.
1.Draw a horizon line on your sheet and mark a point on that line, you can experiment with the height of the horizon depending on your intentions, you will notice that if you draw it under the observer it would appear in a high position, and so on the contrary,
2. Draw as many basic shapes as you want, only the lines of these that point to the horizon must be oriented to the vanishing point that you created on your horizon line.
3. I recommend you look at any street in your city and if it is long and straight enough you will be able to see where the horizon is and where the vanishing point and the buildings would be your geometric figures, you will see how they behave with respect to your horizon.
it's fun to see it like this
