Photoshop: How do I edit a path once it is closed?

I have closed a path, and it now appears in my Paths pane. However, I have no idea how to go back and bring up the anchor points again in order to edit it. Having clicked on the path itself, it simply remains closed, with no anchor points...Any help much appreciated.

Open the Paths panel. If you don't see the Paths panel, under the Windows click on Paths"

select the path layer, by using pen tool you can add, delete the anchor points. By holding Control or Command you can move the anchor points and by holding the Alt or Option key you could move the handles and control them to adjust or change the paths.

The Direct Selection Tool (Press letter A) allows to the path to be selected. You can then use the Pen Tool to delete and add points along the path as needed. This can be practiced with a closed or open path in Photoshop. All Paths will appear in Path Palette, by just clicking on that layer as needed.
