how i can take equal quarters of an half imperial size sheet ????

as i am an civil engineering student engineering drawing is an important subject for me i got an assignment in which i have to draw circumscribed and inscribed figures but befor drawing this i have to quarter the sheet with the help of t-scale

Do you want the quarters as two rows of two or as four column. Must you use a t-scale. May you use a longer ruler, e.g., a yard stick?

This just takes some math!


Measure the full length of the sheet, and divide by four. Take a ruler, and with that number you got, measure out that exact number on the sheet and mark where it ends. Then, put the zero of the ruler on that mark and the rest of the ruler up the paper, and repeat.
