How can you check that your sentences in English academic writing are complete?

One way is to make sure the sentence has a subject and a verb. Another way is to make sure the sentence is a complete thought. For example, if your sentence begins with "When the people protested...," something needs to be added: when X happens, then Y happens.

One way to check that your sentences in English academic writing are complete is to read them aloud. If the sentence sounds correct and makes sense, then it is likely complete. Additionally, you can use an online sentence checker or grammar checker as a final review to ensure your sentences are clear and complete.
