Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
Hope
Cooperation/comrads
frugality/efficiency
Waste not, Want not
Together We stand, divided We fall
Stonger together, or rot & get shot
We Hope not, above all

asked 05/09/22Several countries in the world, including our own, experience war. For whatever reason it may be, the ones who suffer are the ordinary citizens. As they say, in war, nobody wins; everyone loses.
Bio-Note: Emmanuel Monychol was born on the outskirts of a town called Tonj in South Sudan. He has studied in South Sudan, Uganda, and in the United Kingdom. Emmanuel devotes most of his free time to writing.
Pre-Naivasha Days
Emmanuel Monychol (An Excerpt)
We used to fight flies and heat
In the bullet ridden grass thatched huts, We lived in the hope of milk and honey.
We tried to share the little we got with guerrilla forces
Who lived in hope too and tried To survive with little or no food and water
Tyre sandals for shoes and old clothes looted or donated.
Directions: Based on the situation presented in the above poem, identify at least three effects of war to people and community. Present it in a form of a two-stanza poem or a paragraph.
