Instructions: Share the essentials you need to know to make this pandemic study meaningful by presenting important concepts, independent and non-independent variables based on the topic “Me as a Student in a Time of Pandemic”.
Topic: Me as a Student in a Time of Pandemic
Text Statement: This would be dependent on what you're interested in or how the pandemic has affected you. If I were discussing this, I would talk about time management skills when having to perform remote schoolwork, as I find it difficult to participate in self care because there is less differentiation between work/study time and leisure time when I'm home. Then I would elaborate on the changes I noticed within my own life pre-pandemic and post-pandemic.
Problem: Again, dependent on your topic of interest. But if I were performing this study, my research question/problem of study would be: What effect has remote-only learning options during the pandemic had on student time management skills?
Purpose: Dependent on your topic. My purpose: To evaluate whether remote-only learning during the pandemic negatively impacted student time management skills when no in-class options were available.
independent Variable: Dependent on your topic. My independent variable: student learning environment (in-class vs online from the years 2020-2022)
non-independent Variable: Dependent on your topic. My dependent/non-independent variable: student time management skills
