Since climate change affects the entire globe and everything on it, I would say that that data would have to be collected by a team of individuals from various habitats around the world who would monitor the changes in animals, plants oceans, rivers, bacteria, ozone in the air, in other words, climate change would include the COLLABORATIVE efforts of various researchers such as
biologists, meteorologists, chemists, oceanographers, and even psychologists in which they would study the effect of climate change on the physical and emotional (if applicable) of the well-being of living organisms.
Qualitative research should be accompanied by quantitative research to a certain degree to fully understand the effects of climate change on the earth.
I hope these reminders will lead you to find the best answer to this question. Think Collaboration.
Quantity is measure
Quality is SUITABILITY OF THE ENVIRONMENT for the health and survival of LIFE
Poor air quality for living things could mean high levels of smog or air pollution.
If no living things existed to be impacted by the smog, then the no concept of quality would exist.
