Has society made progress about systemic racism in the last decade in Canada?

For one, systemic racism has been in the forefront over the past few years and movements like Black Lives Matter can be construed as having had positive impacts with respect to systemic racism on the national and international scale, including Canada. Much of the progress has been around raising awareness for the problem with action being still difficult to come by, beyond protests and things of that nature. Nevertheless, acknowledging the concept itself is quite important. Additionally, the fact that systemic racism is now being taught in schools is also noteworthy. Message me if you need more help!
