Explain why keratinocytes from the epidermis can be grown (cultured) in a plastic flask.

Well, WHY wouldn't you want to grow them in a plastic flask? I'm sure they adhere nicely to polystyrene. They like that, you know.

Now, if your question is HOW, now you're into media and atmospheres and temperatures and sterility (or use benign sterilants such as HClO now and then?). Get someone who does that daily to brief you, or wangle a visit to a working bio research lab.
