Hi! I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and have read the books more than 100 times each (I speed read). This is what happens when Harry goes to Godric’s Hollow. I memorized what happened several years ago and still remember exactly what happened. When Harry and Hermione went to Godric’s Hollow they made sure to disguise themselves as innocent Muggles going Christmas shopping using Polyjuice potion as well as bringing the invisibility cloak and practicing Disapparating underneath it. They went to the church’s graveyard and on one of the gravestones Hermione found a grave belonging to Kendra Dumbledore as well as her daughter Ariana. On this grave there’s a quote reading “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also“. Hermione also discovered another grave that had the mark that was in the book on it. This was Ignotus Peverell’s grave stone. Meanwhile Harry went looking for his parents’ grave. Hermione found it after a couple of minutes and engraved on Lily and James gravestone said “the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death“. After Hermione raised her wand and created a wreath of Christmas roses and they put it on Harry’s parents’ grave they start they turned and walked away. Hermione told Harry to stop as she noticed that someone was watching them this person was Bathilda Bagshot. Bathilda beckoned Harry and Hermione into her house. Once they went inside, Hermione expressed her concern about entering the house. Harry shut this down and they continued following Bathilda. Harry noticed a photograph of a man who happens to be the thief who stole from Gregorovich in his vision. After trying several times to get an answer from Bathilda, Bathilda motioned for Harry to go upstairs with her alone. Once they went upstairs, Bathilda asked Harry if he was indeed Harry. Harry said yes and then asked her if she had anything for him. He repeated this and then noticed that the Bathilda’s eyes had closed and several things were happening. Harry’s scar was burning very painfully, the Horcrux was twitching, and the dark, fetid room dissolved momentarily. He felt a wave of joy and spoke in a high pitched voice “hold him!”. He asked her if she had anything for him for a third time and she finally pointed him to the corner of the room. Harry asked what it was as he reached the dressing table the corner. Bathilda replied with “there” pointing at the shapeless mass. The moment he looked away, his eyes looking for the Sword of Godric Gryffindor, Bathilda moved weirdly. Harry saw this out of the corner of his eye and in panic, turned around paralyzed in horror as he saw Bathilda’s old body collapsing and Nagini pouring from the place where her neck had been. Nagini attacked and bit Harry’s forearm which sent his wand flying. Hermione called for him but he could not breathe to call back. Then the snake smashed him to the floor and slid over him. The voice whispered “Yes” “Yesss... hold you... hold you...” Harry tried to summon his wand but nothing happened. Harry desperately tried to force the snake off of him as it coiled itself around him squeezing the air out of him. He passed out and awoke abruptly in the darkness noticing that Nagini had released him. He saw the snake outlined against the light after he stood up. The snake struck and Hermione dodged it and sent a curse flying which hit the window. Harry ducked and slipped on his wand which he then picked up but at this point the room was full of the snake which was thrashing around. Hermione could not be seen and Harry was frightened. Suddenly there was a loud bang and a flash of red light and the snake went flying smacking Harry in the face Harry tried raising his wand but his scar seared more painfully than it had in years. The snake attacked again, Hermione screamed “Confringo!” and the spell flew around the room exploding the wardrobe mirror and ricocheting right back at them. Harry was an extreme pain as his scar felt like it was splitting open and he saw Voldemort. He then had a flashback to the nights his parents died. He eventually woke up in the tent. Hermione explained to him how they got there and what happened to Harry as he had gotten ill. Hermione then asked Harry what happened when Bathilda took him upstairs and where the snake came from. Harry then told Hermione that Bathilda was the snake or the snake was her all along, shocking Hermione. He explained what happened. After their talk Harry offered to keep watch for a while and asked for his wand to which Hermione gave no response to. Harry asked for his wand again and Hermione was holding back tears. Harry asked for his wand one more time and Hermione pulled it out and showed it to him it was broken in half with only a strand of the phoenix feather keeping the pieces hanging together, rendering the wand useless.
