HELP ITS URGENT

Each of the organisms featured in this lab exhibited characteristics and structures which allowed them to adapt to and be successful in their environment. One of those structures were the setae of the earthworm. 1.)Briefly describe the setae and where they are located on the earthworm, and 2.) how these structures helped the earthworm to better adapt to their environment.

1) Setae are bristle like structures that are between each segment on the underside of an earthworm.

2) The earthworm uses them to prevent itself from moving backwards when it undulates. This helps with its ability to travel. The setae are pressed into the ground like anchors.
