Describe two of the common misconceptions about the Evolutionary theory.

1. People usually don't understand the concept of common ancestor. Famous "people were not evolved from monkeys", that can be met with semi-rude answer: "yes, I know, they have common ancestor, which is not a gorilla from today". For example cars, dogs and bears have common ancestor. That was not a cat, not a dog, not a bear...
2. General public think that the main purpose of all life forms is to become humans or something similar, without understanding that if species are functioning well enough - species will remain what they are.
