Mature mRNA consists of a 5' cap composed of 7-methylguanosine then a 5' untranslated region then a coding sequence that begins at a start codon (AUG) and then a stop codon (UGA) and then a 3' untranslated region and finally a poly(A) tail (multiple adenine nucleotides).
Introns are removed and exons are the coding regions!
