The other expert answer is correct (to multiply by 1 million), but if you would like a good trick to remember "how many decimal points or zeros", I was taught to remember "My King Henry Died (unexpectedly) drinking chocolate milk. moo, no please." when I was learning the scale. Memorizing the number of zeros was easier, for me, but whatever works for you!
Mega - x1,000,000 (106)
Kilo - x1000 (103)
Hecto - x100 (102)
Deca - x10 (101)
<unit of measurement, 100 (ex. g, L, mol)>
deci - ÷10 (10-1)
centi - ÷100 (10-2)
milli - ÷1000 (10-3)
micro - ÷1,000,000 (10-6)
nano - ÷1,000,000,000 (10-9)
pico - ÷1,000,000,000,000 (10-12)
