Make a short story for me!

Question

The words are obscure, looming, extradite, benign, agile, blithely, jaunty, disclosure, ordinances, heretic, torment, fervor, quizzically, ominous, incredulous. Sentences can only have one/two of these words at most (not every sentence has to has one of the words). There should from 7-15(ish) sentences. i’m in 10th grade so don’t make it too good or too bad. thank you!

Definitions:

Obscure – adjective; uncertain or undiscovered. Verb; to conceal

Looming – verb; appearing as a threatening form; something threatening is going to happen

Extradite – verb; hand someone who committed a crime over to the jurisdiction (place) so they face trial

Benign – adjective; mild, kind, not harmful

Agile – adjective; move quickly and easily

Blithely – adverb; shows improper indifference

Jaunty – adjective; lively, cheerful, and self-confident

Disclosure – noun; making new information known; a secret that is made public

Heretic – noun; a person who is at odds with what is generally accepted; someone who doesn’t conform, especially regarding religion

Torment – noun; severe suffering. Verb; causing someone else to suffer

Fervor – noun; intense heat or passion

Quizzically – adjective; behavior or look that shows confusement or amusement

Ominous – adjective; gives the impression that something unpleasant or threatening will happen



Incredulous – adjective; somebody acting as if they’re unable or unwilling to believe something

Tips:

I suggest taking these terms and using them to decide what type of genre you want to write. Personally, I feel a crime drama would suit these terms. It is completely up to you, though. Write about whichever topic interests you. Then, focus on which are nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives. This will help you know whether the words will describe your character’s behavior or actions.

Remember that stories can be as silly or as serious as you want. Go with your interests! As long as the words are used correctly, given the definitions provided, let your imagination fly.
