Have you experienced frustration at not getting the reading instruction you need?

I assess reading with Woodcock Reading, then make a plan based on Orton-Gillingham methodology. I have documented growth in students gaining two years growth in 6 months time. My instruction is very focused, intensive, and highly effective!

I like to assess reading using the Gallestel Ellis, Woodcock-Johnson, Barnel Loft and Dibels. All of these tools are great measures for assessing where a student lands in reading and writing. I have training in Barton, Seeing Stars, and OG. I am an OG specialist now and have seen a lot of teens "tapped out" on Barton. I see the value in different types of assessments and in the end, it depends on so many different factors because every student is different.
