During the early part of the Middle Ages, the areas in Western Europe under Feudalism and Manorialism became self-sufficient and depended on agriculture. Identify and explain the agricultural achievements that were made in agriculture and explain the impact they had.

Hi Chloe! Ok... So you are going to look up (online or in your History textbook?) Feudalism in Western Europe. I think that will give you better information than Manorialism at first. Write down a few of the inventions that came about (like plowing techniques or harnessing/yoking animals that were different. They had to come up with some amazing new farming ideas because they were under pressure to succeed. Also look at the crops, themselves. Did they create irrigation techniques and did they use crops that had not been tried before? You are looking for things that happened way back then that changed agriculture forever! I hope this helps!
