Because a reflection is a chance to offer one's thoughts on a topic, one cannot fail it if a thoughtful reply is offered. 500 words is about a page of typed words. It can be written objectively or subjectively (with the use of "I"). In this case specifically, it might help to complete the page of notes to know that this from a famous quote by a famous political philosopher. Jean Jacques Rosseau was a major influencer of the French Enlightenment. He was filled with contradictions like his belief in confronting painful social truths but a great love for romance novels.
To write on this reflection, you need a well written response which could include anything. Just be sure to related back to the original quote. Here are some writing prompts:
- In the realities of the current social situation, are those protesters who believe in Black Lives Matter wicked and weak?
- If there are no straight answers to anything, is it fair to categorize all weakness as wickedness? Is some weakness just laziness or disinterest?
- In the Marvel Universe is all wickedness weakness?

Great answer and writing prompts! I would just add that a personal example might add depth to the answer. Briefly describe where a "wicked" response (for example, bullying) shows perceived strength, yet may actually be a weakness of character, leaving the bully feeling the need to hurt others to prove their own worth.09/15/20
