Arturo has become more aware of his grandfather's life. He seems better able to appreciate the struggles that grandpa had to endure but it now gives him a greater desire to achieve no matter the odds. This knowledge of hisgrandfather's life will bring them closer together. His grandfather will appreciate Arturo's desire for self-identity. This will foster a greater respect for his grandson.
