Here is a creative example of a paragraph:
Commander Sprecher refused to follow protocol when the approaching passenger ship's captain requested more berth near the Leeward Islands. Sprecher's submarine crew had just reached the surface of the water. Sprecher considered relinquishing his vessel's right to proceed without pause since his ship had been dispatched to an emergency situation on Midway Island. Breaching authority was not in Sprecher's modus operandi, so he was predisposed to ignoring the passenger ship's whistles. While he didn't consider the leisure ship a vessel full of brigands, he was known to be very opinionated when it came to following orders. He quickly contacted the Captain telegraphically, informing him that his submarine had been called to active duty. In essence, the Commander muddled his way through a very tentative situation, arriving at Midway in record time. (creative writing by Mary)
