Using timed reading fluency passages, time yourself reading a passage. Read it again and try to beat your previous score. Keep trying more difficult text, using the same method. Circle words that made you pause. Practice those individually to mastery. Many passages can be found online with word count per line of text, but you can do the same thing using that model to create your own versions.
