Hello there! While there isn't a step-by-step process per se, there are many things that one can do to improve reading comprehension. The BEST and most effective thing to do is practice! Reading aloud to oneself or someone else is a great start. For young children, a parent or sibling reading to the child and pointing to words as they go is crucial to developing a child's literacy.
