For a fruit salad, Damien will buy at least 20 pieces of fruit. He wants to spend no more than $12. Apples cost $0.30 each and oranges cost $0.70 each.

1. Graph the system of inequalities and give an example combination of fruit that Damien can use.

A + O >= 20

0.3A + 0.7O >= 12

3A + 7O >= 120

-3 * equation 1 + equation 2

4O >= 60

O >= 15

15 or more oranges.... 5 or less apples

That's $10.50 + 1.50 = $12
