Strengthen Reading Skills Quickly / Increase Enjoyment & Grades
Hello.
I do not think it is necessary to constantly refer back to information that came before to understand what you have read in a chapter. Rarely, as when we read material with many characters, do we have to look back. It might be that constantly referring back comes from not automatically taking in what is being read at the moment. I suggest taking some brush up reading lessons to form new habits of reading. That will not only improve comprehension but also retention of the read material. New habits cannot be formed overnight. But even 2 months of reading exercises can make an enormous difference in improving comprehension and retention.
I hope this helps.
