Reading: How can I become better at retaining information that I read for the first time?

As you read highlight important key points and jot down important connections you make with the text. This will make it easier to review the most important parts of what you have just read and retain that information. It also helps when reading longer texts that you can read some of your notes to remind yourself before continuing on. I hope this helps
